Triton City Entertainment is developing a planned four film sci-fi franchise “Dawn of the Paladin” with Chris Collins attached to co-write the first film with the project currently seeking a studio partner.
Dirk Hoogsta, the former general manager of the History network where he oversaw its scripted successes like “Vikings,” “Hatfields & McCoys,” “Sons of Liberty” and “The Bible,” penned the story which centers around a small group of peacekeepers paid to protect a remote three-planet colony.
Collins got his start as a staff writer on “The Wire” before working as a writer on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” executive producer and writer on both “Sons of Anarchy” and “The Man in the High Castle,” and co-wrote “John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum”.
Art director Paul Weil and Rockstar Games alum Anthony Macbain worked extensively on the world-building and character development for the project.
