Jon Hamm and Cedric the Entertainer are both in talks to join Don Cheadle and Sebastian Stan in Steven Soderbergh’s new feature “Kill Switch”.
Penned by Ed Solomon (“Men in Black”), the 1950s crime drama is set in Detroit and follows a trio of criminals who carry out a home invasion, only to wonder if they’ve been double-crossed when the job goes sideways.
Hamm is in talks to play a cop on their trail. He takes on a role Josh Brolin had been eyed to fill but had to turn down due to his commitments to Amazon’s “Outer Range” TV series.
Casey Silver (“Godless”) is producing and shooting is expected to begin this summer with an HBO Max premiere likely.
