CBS has announced the addition of two new regular cast members and the promotion of a recurring cast member on its long-running “Hawaii Five-0” for its upcoming eighth season.
Ian Anthony Dale has played a recurring role on the show as Adam Noshimuri, a trusted confidant the second season and will now be a series regular after being recruited by Detective Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) to work for the police unit.
Also onboard are Meaghan Rath (“Being Human”) as Tani Rey, a hotel pool lifeguard who had been dismissed from the police academy, and Beulah Koale as former Navy SEAL Junior Reigns who seeks a job with the team.
The additions are to fill the space left by the controversial departure of original cast members Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park from the series over a pay dispute.
“Hawaii Five-0” returns for its eighth season on September 29th.
