Reacher
Alan Ritchson has confirmed that filming on the fifth season of Amazon’s “Reacher” kicks off imminently, telling Screen Rant: “We start shooting on Monday. The last half of my year is going to be all Reacher season 5.” He also confirms they’ve selected which book they’re adapting but hasn’t revealed which one.
The shooting comes ahead of the fourth season launching on the service on August 12th with three episodes, while the spin-off series “Neagley” premieres on September 16th.
Dexter
“The Last of Us” and “Terminator: Dark Fate” actor Gabriel Luna has joined the cast of the second season of “Dexter: Resurrection” at Paramount+ and Showtime. Luna guest stars as a serial killer known as The Sleepy-Eyed Stranger.
Luna will join several previously announced cast members including Brian Cox as The New York Ripper, Dan Stevens as The Five Borough Killer, Uma Thurman as Charley, Bokeem Woodbine as Capt. Mixon, Nona Parker Johnson as Fiona Mixon. Krysten Ritter also returns. [Source: TV Line]
Army of Shadows
Paddy Considine, Kit Harington, America Ferrera and Alex Hassell have been revealed as being stars in Ronan Bennett’s new TV series reimagining of “Army of Shadows” for Channel 4 and CANAL+. The six-episode series, helmed by Lisa Gunning, reimagines the French Resistance tale as being set in a near-future Britain under American occupation. [Source: Variety]
