After churning out three films for Netflix as part of a multi-year deal, filmmaker Noah Baumbach is heading back out into the studio world with his next project – an A24 TV series.
The series, Baumbach’s first to date, will be an adaptation of Andrew Ridker’s 2018 novel “Hope”. Set in 2008, it follows an affluent Jewish family in suburban Boston whose public image unravels after a scandal, The project serves as this third time teaming with A24 after “While We’re Young” and doco “De Palma”.
