American Blue
Milo Ventimiglia has been set as the lead in “American Blue,” the new HBO Max cop drama from former “Supernatural” showrunner Jeremy Carver. In addition filmmaker David Ayer (“Suicide Squad,” “End of Watch”) will direct.

The story centers on native son Brian ‘Milk’ Milkovich (Ventimiglia) who returns to his hometown of Joliet, Illinois, to rescue a beleaguered police force while seeking redemption of his own. The series aims to follow “The Pitt” model of a cost-effective procedural with more episodes per season and a consistent release schedule. [Source: Deadline]

NBC
NBC has announced the renewal of two of its comedies for third seasons for the 2026-27 season – “St. Denis Medical” and “Happy’s Place”. The former, a medical mockumentary, is said to be the only broadcast primetime comedy that has seen linear growth in the 18-49 demo. The Reba McEntire-led latter has also seen ratings rise. Blood Aces
Sylvester Stallone‘s Balboa Productions, Cole Hauser‘s American Outlaw Entertainment and MGM Television are teaming for a series adaptation of Doug J. Swanson’s 2014 book “Blood Aces” which is about Benny Binion (Hauser), a Texas gangster who built the foundation of modern Las Vegas gambling.

The character-driven prestige series charts Binion’s explosive rise from a Fort Worth, TX hustler to the ruthless, larger-than-life mastermind who redefined Vegas and the worlds of poker and rodeo. [Source: Deadline]

HBO
HBO Max has announced that both this weekend’s episodes of “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” and “Industry” are going early to avoid the crush of the Super Bowl, with both shows releasing the new episodes this Friday on the streamer. The linear premieres will still bow at their respective regular times of 9pm ET & 10pm ET. [Source: HBO Max]

Dark Winds
AMC Networks has released an official trailer for the fourth season of its acclaimed crime drama “Dark Winds”, which is set to return on Sunday, February 15, exclusively on AMC and AMC+.

The fourth season focuses on the search for a missing Navajo girl, which takes Leaphorn, Chee, and Manuelito from the safety of the Navajo Nation to the gritty terrain of 1970s Los Angeles in a race against the clock to save her from an obsessive killer with ties to organized crime.

Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette
FX has premiered the official trailer for Ryan Murphy’s new limited series “Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette,” which deals with the courtship and ultimately tragic romance between John F. Kennedy Jr. (Paul Kelly) and Carolyn Bessette (Sarah Pidgeon), the pair dying in a plane crash in July 1999. Also starring Grace Gummer, Naomi Watts, Alessandro Nivola, Leila George, Sydney Lemmon and Constance Zimmer.
