The first trailer and poster have arrived for “Empire” and “Hidden Figures” star Taraji P. Henson’s new action thriller “Proud Mary” which Screen Gems will release in January.
Henson plays a ruthless professional hit-woman for the Boston mob who turns good after she meets a young boy who awakens her maternal instinct in her that she never knew she had.
Babak Najafi (“London Has Fallen”) helms the film which co-stars Billy Brown, Margaret Avery, Xander Berkeley, Neal McDonough, and Danny Glover.
