Showtime has released the official full trailer for its series remake of Tomas Alfredson’s famed 2008 Swedish horror film “Let the Right One In”.
Once again based on the John Ajvide Lindqvist novel, this one seems to put more focus on young girl vampire Eleanor (Madison Taylor Baez) and her relationship with her haunted caretaker Mark (Demian Bichir).
The series, marking the second remake of the property following Matt Reeves’ 2010 film “Let Me In,” is reportedly set ten years into her vampirism, and Eleanor is lonely which leads to a strained existence between father and child.
Grace Gummer, Anika Noni Rose, Ian Foreman, Kevin Carroll and Jacob Buster also star.
“Penny Dreadful” writer Andrew Hinderaker showruns and executive produces along with “Blindspotting” director Seith Mann who helms. The series will debut on Showtime on October 7th.
