“Alien: Earth” scene stealer Babou Ceesay, “Bohemian Rhapsody” actress Lucy Boynton, and British acting veteran Peter Mullan have all joined the cast of the second season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” prequel series “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”.

Ceesay will play Ser Bennis of the Brown Shield, Boynton will play Lady Rohanne of Coldmoat, a.k.a. the Red Widow, and Mullan will play Ser Eustace Osgrey of Standfast in the Reach.

The trio join returning stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg in the second season which is based on George R.R. Martin‘s novella “The Sworn Sword”.

In that story, Dunk and Egg become entangled in a regional dispute during a summer drought in Westeros. The new run will shoot in Spain, the filming location for “Game of Thrones” episodes that were usually set in Dorne or Essos.

Showrunner Ira Parker confirmed the next season will be six episodes with the same budget as the first season, so the scope has to be slightly smaller to save on costs. The first season is averaging 14 million U.S. viewers and 26 million worldwide across all platforms.
