Oscar-nominee Stanley Tucci has joined the cast of Joe and Anthony Russo’s Amazon series “Citadel”.
Tucci joins Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Ashleigh Cummings in the global spy thriller and ambitious multi-series with local Italian, Mexican and Indian spin-offs to be produced in the wake of the English one.
Specifics of the plot are under wraps other than the title refers to an intelligence agency that is under siege from a rival agency named Manticore.
Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg are writing the series and executive producing along with the Russos, Mike Larocca and Patrick Moran.
