Sebastian Stan, Paul Dano, Seth Rogen and Pete Davidson are set to star in “Dumb Money” for Black Bear Pictures.
Craig Gillespie helms this adaptation of Ben Mezrich’s book The Antisocial Network with Rebecca Angelo & Lauren Schuker Blum adapting the script.
The story deals with the GameStop short squeeze and how a loosely affiliated group of private investors and internet trolls on a subreddit took down one of the biggest hedge funds on Wall Street, firing the first shot in a revolution that threatened to upend the establishment.
Aaron Ryder, Teddy Schwarzman and Gillespie are producing. Shooting will begin this October.
