Sony Pictures Classics has acquired North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa distribution rights for the Toronto-premiered documentary “It Might Get Loud” by Davis Guggenheim (“An Inconvenient Truthâ) reports the trades.
Three legendary musicians – The Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White – are brought together for the first time in this documentary which celebrates the electric guitar by examining the creative process of these virtuosos through their own words and music.
A Summer 2009 release is planned.
