Showtime has released the official trailer for the fifth season of their drama series “Billions,” the clip highlighting the intense rivalry between Paul Giamatti’s Chuck Rhodes and Damian Lewis’ Bobby Axelrod in the wake of a new wild card in their lives.
The new season sees the pair’s vicious rivalry reignited as social impact pioneer Mike Prince (Corey Stoll) poses a true threat to Axe’s dominance while Chuck feuds with a formidable district attorney.
Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon) is forced back to Axe Capital, where they must fight to protect their employees and their assets. Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff) reevaluates her loyalties and forges surprising new alliances that put her at odds with both Chuck and Axe.
Golden Globe winner Julianna Margulies also joins the new episodes which are slated to kick off on the premium cabler on May 3rd.
