Mickey Rourke has scored the lead role in Mark Atkins’ indie supernatural horror tale “Unhinged” at Archstone Entertainment and Alt House Productions.
Rourke plays Dr. Elder, a prominent psychiatrist at a state-run hospital who wrestles with madness and a dark supernatural force as he races to stop an escaped patient from butchering five people held hostage in a remote house.
Ian Holt penned the screenplay and will produce alongside Scott Martin, Michael Alden, Michael Kuciak and Michael Slifkin. Filming begins in July in Los Angeles.
