In the wake of the official announcement of Henry Cavill exiting from Netflix’s “The Witcher” ahead of its fourth season, the streamer has set new deals with the rest of its cast.
Deadline reports that Cavill had only committed to a short-term deal with Netflix and contract renewal time came around ahead of the fourth season.
Cavill made the decision to move on and shift his focus to other upcoming projects – including Superman. So, Liam Hemsworth opted to come on board and has now replaced him in the same role as Geralt of Rivia.
The rest of the cast, including Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri, have also undergone contract renegotiations and are all expected to reprise their roles in the fourth season.
The series, which also stars MyAnna Buring as Tissaia and Joey Batey as Jaskier, has wrapped its third season shoot ahead of an airing next Summer.
