Of the original Avengers from Joss Whedon’s 2012 film, three of them are gone from the MCU – Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.
Two of the other three – Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo – seem intent on sticking around for now. So what about Jeremy Renner?
The actor’s upcoming “Hawkeye” series appears to be a project that will see him pass the torch to Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop. Out promoting that series however, the actor tells The New York Times he is happy stick around as long as Marvel Studios will have him:
“I can make that live for another decade. Until I just can’t fit into the damn costume anymore… I’ll do it till no one wants to see me do it.”
“Hawkeye” debuts on Disney+ on November 24th.
