The first trailer for Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated new film “Tenet” is rumored to hit sometime on Thursday following multiple users decoding a message on Twitter involving the film’s spinning logo. Apparently, the logo would stop or change after a certain number of rotations – leading to the conclusion that something big is set to go down December 19th.

A six-minute prologue for the espionage thriller will be attached to IMAX copies of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” this week. John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh lead the film opening in July. [Source: CBM]

Americanah
Zackary Momoh (“Doctor Sleep,” “Harriet”) will join Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira the “Americanah” miniseries adaptation in the works at HBO Max. Nyong’o plays a young, beautiful, self-assured woman raised in Nigeria, who as a teenager falls in love with her classmate Obinze (Momoh). Living in a military-ruled country, they each depart for the west. She achieves academic success in the U.S., he plunges into a dangerous undocumented life in London. [Source: Variety]

Malignant
Filmmaker James Wan has confirmed on social media that production has officially wrapped on his forthcoming horror film “Malignant,” his first non-Conjuring horror collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema. Annabelle Wallis, Jake Abel, George Young, Maddie Hasson, Michole Briana White and Jacqueline McKenzie co-star in the top secret project which Wan and his fiance Ingrid Bisu co-wrote. The Grudge
Sony Pictures has released a clip from filmmaker Nicolas Pesce’s horror reboot “The Grudge” offering an look at a bathroom scene with John Cho. Lin Shaye, Demian Bichir and Andrea Riseborough co-star in the new take on the franchise will focus on a house cursed by a vengeful ghost that dooms those who enter it with a violent death. “The Grudge” opens January 3rd.
