Backrooms
A24 has announced that production has officially wrapped on filmmaker Kane Parsons’ “Backrooms” movie. The news came with a photo of the 20-year-old filmmaker in the film’s editing room.
The original urban legend and ‘creepypasta’ short film is set in the 1990s and sees a young filmmaker fall into another dimension where he wanders through an unsettlingly yellow, empty and labyrinthine office space – one that may be home to otherworldly beings. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve lead this take which opens May 29th.
