Chance the Rapper has been set as the host of MTV Studios’ revival of Ashton Kutcher’s hidden camera prank show “Punk’d” which is coming to short form content platform Quibi. The reboot will reportedly make use of augmented reality to make the pranks even bolder than before and will consist of twenty episodes, each under ten minutes. [Source: Variety]

Black Mirror
“Black Mirror” creators Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones have departed their Endemol Shine-backed production banner House of Tomorrow whilst engaged in ongoing talks for an exclusive deal with Netflix.

The pair officially stepped down as directors of the label this week, but rights to “Black Mirror” remain with Endemol Shine and IP ownership issues are proving a snag in talks between the show creators and Netflix thus far. [Source: Variety]

Nioh 2
Sony Playstation has set a March 13th release date for “Nioh 2” which has also scored a story trailer today. The game is a prequel to the hit 2017 RPG about western sailor/samurai William Adams and his journey through 16th century Japan. This time around, players will travel to violent Sengoku-era Japan in 1555, a time which is overrun by Yokai and a cast of colorful characters.

Lamp Life
Disney+ and Pixar have released the trailer for their original animated short “Lamp Life,” a short centering on Bo Beep’s untold adventures in the events between the second and fourth “Toy Story” films.

Bo and her sheep are given to a new little girl, get broken, and eventually end up at Second Chance Antiques, where she meets Giggle McDimples, Duke Caboom, and Gabby Gabby. “Lamp Life” will begin streaming on January 31st on Disney+.
