Ike Barinholtz (“The Oath,” “Blockers”) has joined the cast of Amazon’s political thriller film “The Hunt” co-starring Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, Glenn Howerton and Josh Radnor. Universal will release the film in cinemas October 18th.

STXfilms has scored domestic distribution rights to the Gerard Butler-led thriller “Greenland” from filmmaker Ric Roman Waugh. Shooting kicks off in May. Elizabeth Lail (“You,” “The Blacklist”) has signed on to star in the lead role in Justin Dec’s horror film “Countdown” at STX Films. The story follows a young nurse who, after downloading an app that predicts exactly when a person is going to die, discovers she is supposed to die in three days must figure out why her time is running out and who or what is the mysterious figure following her. Bailey and Darla
Jordana Brewster, Vivica A. Fox and Anna Akana are set for supporting roles in the indie film “Bailey and Darla” alongside Brittany Snow and Sam Richardson. Nico Raineau helmed the film from a screenplay he wrote with Lauren Schacher.
The story follows a cynical reporter whose sex addiction is getting in the way of her sex column, and her evolving relationship with Bailey, a well-meaning sweetheart recently dumped and who learns he has testicular cancer.
