The first trailer for Hulu’s revival of the sci-fi animated comedy series “Futurama” will release online tomorrow. Ten all-new episodes will be released weekly on Mondays on Hulu starting on July 24th. [Source: Cartoon News Network]
Napoleon
Ridley Scott’s “Napoleon” reportedly clocks in at 147 minutes long and will be rated R for “strong violence, some grisly images, sexual content and brief language”.
The film is subbed an original and personal look at Napoleon Bonaparte’s origins and his swift, ruthless climb to emperor, viewed through the prism of his relationship with his wife and one true love, Josephine. Joaquin Phoenix and Vanessa Kirby star. [Source: Discussing Film]
Kraven the Hunter
Composer Benjamin Wallfisch will handle the score to Sony and Marvel’s “Kraven the Hunter” film starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson as the antihero character. Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott and Russell Crowe co-star.
Wallfisch’s score work has included the recently released “The Flash” film along with “Shazam!,” 2019’s “Hellboy,” 2021’s “Mortal Kombat” and 2020’s “The Invisible Man”. [Source: THR]
Haunted Mansion
Disney has released a new featurette for its upcoming supernatural comedy “Haunted Mansion” starring Rosario Dawson, Owen Wilson, LaKeith Stanfield, and more.
The clip offers a look at the live-action feature sets which adapt the iconic theme park ride into real-life locations. Director Justin Simien and the cast talk up the film which arrives July 28th.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
Ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, Lucasfilm has dropped one more “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” featurette – this one offering behind-the-scenes footage involving the film’s action sequences.
The cast and creative team lend commentary to the piece which is focused on how practical the film was in those sequences. The movie is set to open in cinemas everywhere on Friday.
