A House of Dynamite
A third and fourth still have been released for Kathryn Bigelow’s “A House of Dynamite” with the film hitting select cinemas on October 10th ahead of a Netflix release on October 24th.
Bigelow’s film dramatises the White House response, in real time, to incoming ballistic missiles aimed at the United States. Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Greta Lee, Anthony Ramos, Tracy Letts, Jason Clarke, Kaitlyn Dever, Gabriel Basso, Jared Harris, Moses Ingram, Brian Tee, Jonah Hauer-King, and Kyle Allen co-star. Predator: Badlands
Marvel Comics has announced that the upcoming “Predator: Badlands” films will get a tie-in prequel comic which release November 12th. Ethan Sacks wrote and Elvin Ching illustrated the comic with director Dan Trachtenberg set to write the foreword.
Sacks says care was taken to make sure this prequel story ties into the film. In the one-shot, a young Yautja warrior is given a seemingly simple task by his father: retrieve a piece of technology from a derelict spaceship that crashed years ago. Scream 7
The seventh “Scream” film continues to recruit more talent from the original films with composer Marco Beltrami set to return to the franchise to do the film’s score. With his return, along will come some of his signature pieces from the franchise – including “Sidney’s Lament”. The movie itself opens February 27th.

Play Dirty
Amazon Prime Video has confirmed the first trailer will arrive tomorrow for Shane Black’s “Play Dirty,” a new heist thriller based on the Parker series of novels – specifically “The Hunter” by Richard Stark/Donald E. Westlake.
Mark Wahlberg, LaKeith Stanfield, Rosa Salazar, Keegan-Michael Key, Chukwudi Iwuji, Nat Wolff, Thomas Jane, and Tony Shalhoub star in the film about an expert thief who finds himself pitted against a South American dictator, the New York mafia, and the world’s richest man.
