Ryan Phillippe will both star in and make his directorial debut on the indie thriller “Shreveport” for Twisted Pictures says Variety.
Phillippe will play a fading movie star who is suddenly kidnapped, held hostage and tortured while filming a low-budget film in the Louisiana city.
Phillippe wrote the script with Joe Gossett and will also produce with Holly Wiersma and Mark Burg. Shooting kicks off this summer in Louisiana.
