Streaming giant Netflix is reportedly testing out ‘Shuffle Play,’ a new single button option that allows viewers to watch TV and movie titles randomly selected by the streaming service.
The button reportedly appears on the profiles page only on TV devices, including Roku and Apple TV, and instead of users clicking on their profile and combing through the collection – the streamer will offer a random title.
The button also reportedly appears below the service’s sidebar, underneath the ‘Search’ and ‘Home’ options. The aim of the button is reportedly to help viewers find new content tailored to their preferences and tastes.
Testing actually began last month, and reportedly Netflix still has yet to decide whether it wants to keep the new feature.
