Following the first photos the other day, more shots from the comedy sequel “Coming 2 America” have been revealed and come ahead of the film’s first trailer next week.
The new photos showcase first looks at Wesley Snipes’ villain General Izzi, KiKi Layne as Akeem’s daughter, Jermaine Fowler as Akeem’s son Lavelle, Leslie Jones as Lavelle’s mother, Tracy Morgan as Lavelle’s uncle, Paul Bates returning as bodyguard Oha, and Teyana Taylor in an unspecified role.
There’s also more photos of Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall in the Craig Brewer-directed feature which will see Akeem heading back to Queens to see a son he never knew he had. From the looks of it, said son and his relatives then come to Zamunda.
Rapper Rick Ross and comedian Michael Blackson are also in the cast along with returnees John Amos as Cleo McDowell, Shari Headley as Lisa McDowell, and Louie Anderson as McDowell’s employee Maurice. “Coming 2 America” hits Amazon Prime on March 5th.
