“Loki” Writer To Pen “Doctor Strange” Sequel

Michael Waldron, a former “Rick and Morty” writer and head writer on Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series “Loki,” has been set to pen the script for the upcoming “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” feature.

Sam Raimi is in negotiations to make his return to the Marvel world as director of the project, taking over after Scott Derrickson exited over creative differences. Derrickson classily gave his blessing to Raimi on social media this week.

Jade Bartlett was previously set as writer on ‘Multiverse’ which is being billed as Marvel’s first scary movie. “Loki” and the upcoming “WandaVision” series are both said to tie into ‘Multitude’ which will be one of the key movies in the MCU’s ‘Phase 4’ which begins with “Black Widow” in May.
