Lily Collins is set to star in Hulu and Searchlight Television’s “Razzlekhan: The Infamous Crocodile of Wall Street” limited series.
Based on the NY Magazine article “The Many Lives of Crypto’s Most Notorious Couple,” the crime thriller and character study focuses on Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan (Collins) – a pair of hapless entrepreneurs who stumbled onto a hard drive containing $3.6 Billion in stolen Bitcoin from the Finex exchange.
The show will unfold through the eyes of the couple as well as hackers, bankers, law enforcement agents and friends. Charlie McDowell is slated to direct and will produce alongside Collins and Alex Orlovsky.
Lichtenstein and Morgan were arrested in February and charged with attempting to launder $4.5 billion in stolen bitcoin. The couple faces up to twenty-five years in prison and have been in talks with prosecutors over a plea deal.
