Following a tease last week, it has been revealed that John Carpenter will host Shout Factory TV’s “Masters of Monsters” weekend – a movie marathon of iconic “Godzilla” movies.
Running November 3rd-6th, the streamer’s marathon will feature Carpenter introducing four favorite monster films directed by Ishiro Hondo – the uncut Japanese version of the original “Godzilla,” “Rodan,” “Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster,” and “The War of the Gargantuas”.
One film will screen per day, with that film to be shown at 6pm & 8pm US-PT on their selected night. A clip has been released showing Carpenter singing the praises of composer Akira Ifukube.
