Isabelle Fuhrman (“Orphan,” “The Hunger Games”) has landed the lead role in David Gordon Green’s remake of the Dario Argento’s 1977 horror classic “Suspiria” reports Variety.
The story follows a young girl who travels to Europe to attend a world-renowned school, only to learn that the academy is a front for a coven of witches. Janet McTeer, Michael Nyqvist and Antje Traue also star.
Green is directing from a script he co-wrote with Chris Gebert. Adam Ripp, Rob Paris, Francesco Melzi d’Eril and Luca Guadagnino are producing with shooting to kick off in September.
