Amy Schumer is set to revive her sketch comedy series “Inside Amy Schumer” for a fifth season on streamer Paramount+.
The five-episode run will premiere with two episodes on October 20th followed by the remaining three rolling out weekly.
Schumer says in a statement on social media she was bringing back the show to “burn any remaining bridges… it’s better than ever – well, not as good as season three, but close.”
Schumer herself cancelled the Emmy and Peabody-winning Comedy Central series back in 2016 even though the series had been renewed for a fifth season.
After Paramount got in touch about reviving the show, she swiftly recruited many members of the show’s original staff to join her.
