Hulu Is The New Streaming Home Of Fx

Hulu is officially set to become the streaming home of one of the most award-winning TV original series libraries out there, FX, as Disney’s plans for the cable channel’s back catalogue have come to light.

In March next year, Hulu will launch ‘FX on Hulu’ which will see every season of more than 40 FX and FXX original series become available on the service. Celebrated FX series include the likes of “The Americans,” “American Crime Story,” “American Horror Story,” “Archer,” “Atlanta,” “Baskets,” “Better Things,” “The Bridge,” “Damages,” “Fargo,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Justified,” “The League,” “Legion,” “Louie,” “Mayans MC,” “Mr. Inbetween,” “Nip/Tuck,” “Pose,” “Rescue Me,” “The Shield,” “Snowfall,” “Sons of Anarchy,” “The Strain,” “Taboo,” “Terriers,” “Tyrant,” “What We Do in the Shadows,” “Wilfred,” and “You’re the Worst”.

At the same time, episodes of most current series on FX and FXX will become available via ‘FX on Hulu’ immediately after they premiere. This confirms the long-held belief Hulu will become the streaming home of Disney’s more adult-oriented programming with Disney+ for its family-friendly fare.

That’s not all though as four of FX’s previously announced new series are now be set to premiere exclusively via ‘FX on Hulu’. These include sci-fi event series “Devs” from “Ex Machina” director Alex Garland, the Kate Mara-led “A Teacher,” the Cate Blanchett-led event series “Mrs. America,” and the Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow-led “The Old Man”.

John Landgraf, Chairman of FX Networks, says in a statement: “We’re thrilled to have Hulu as our streaming partner with the creation of FX on Hulu, which will be the best and most complete representation of the FX brand, finally putting us on equal footing with competitors like HBO. This will allow us to expand FX’s original programming lineup and to reach Hulu’s growing audience of young and highly engaged subscribers.”
