“True Grit” actress Hailee Steinfeld is in negotiations to join the cast of Gavin Hood’s sci-fi action thriller “Ender’s Game” at Summit Entertainent says The Hollywood Reporter.
An adaptation of the Orson Scott Card 1985 novel, the story centers on a futuristic military academy where children are trained to fight an invading alien force.
Steinfeld would play the lone female in the child army who develops a relationship with the lead character (Asa Butterfield).
