ABC has premiered the official trailer for the second season of its highly acclaimed comedy series “Abbott Elementary”.
The mockumentary-style series takes place at an underfunded elementary school in Philadelphia as a group of teachers navigate their daily work lives and try to give their students the best education they can.
The second season will go further into the teachers’ personal lives after they’ve spent long days at work. It will also have an episode count nearly double that of the first season – a full twenty-two episodes in all.
“Abbott Elementary” is created, executive produced, and written by Quinta Brunson who stars alongside Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, Sheryl Lee Ralph and William Stanford Davis.
“Abbott Elementary” returns on Wednesday, September 21st, with episodes set to stream the next day on Hulu.
