Actor Harrison Ford has sustained a shoulder injury on the set of the fifth “Indiana Jones”.
The injury, sustained during the rehearsing of a fight scene, was enough that the 78-year-old actor has to take a hiatus from filming while treatment is evaluated.
A Disney spokesperson says: “Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”
Director James Mangold began shooting the project earlier this month in the U.K. with Ford reprising his role of the fedora-wearing, swashbuckling archaeologist alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen in the latest installment.
“Indiana Jones 5” is currently scheduled to debut in theaters on July 29th 2022.
