Lionsgate has premiered the official trailer for the comedy “Long Shot” starring Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron.
Rogen plays Fred Flarsky, a quirky political journalist who reunites with his first crush who also happens to be the current US Secretary of State, Charlotte Field (Theron).
As she prepares to make a surprise run for the Oval Office, Charlotte hires Fred to punch up her campaign speeches and their unmistakable chemistry leads to a round-the-world affair.
A.J. Dix, Evan Goldberg, Beth Kono, and James Weaver will produce the film which Jonathan Levine (“The Night Before”) helms from a script by Dan Sterling (“The Interview”). The film opens May 3rd.
