Following the first poster this morning and ahead of the first trailer tomorrow, the first photos from Wes Anderson’s new movie “The French Dispatch” have now been published via The New Yorker.

The outlet confirms reports that the movie will consist of essentially four parts – an overarching framing story set about the doings of a fictional weekly American magazine in the fictional town of Ennui-sur-Blase in France in the 1940s, and short film dramatisations of three of the diverse human-interest stories said magazine publishes.

This means the film will be set across various time-periods and locales, can incorporate a massive cast with many only appearing for a portion of the movie, and at least one of the segments is in black & white. Check out the shots below.
