Cassian Andor Series Casting Some Kids

Rogue One Scribe Joins Cassian Andor Series

A casting breakdown has emerged for the upcoming “Star Wars” TV series based around Gabriel Luna’s “Rogue One” character of Cassian Andor.

Currently in the works for Disney+, the series will serve as a prequel to the events of “Rogue One” which saw Andor meeting a tragic fate. Casting descriptions for the series from The Illuminerdi (via CBM) suggest the show will follow his story right from the beginning including elements of his childhood.

Three descriptions are released for child characters, two are same character at different ages, with both going by codenames – ‘Mundo’ and ‘Cinta’. The former certainly sounds like Cassian:

“Mundo is a thirteen-year old, Hispanic male. The young teen has a head full of brown hair and big, passionate eyes. Needs to have a wide range from still calm to uncontrolled anger.

Mundo is a nine-year old, Hispanic male. A wild and unruly kid with a head full of brown hair and big, passionate eyes. Also needs to have a wide range from still calm to uncontrolled anger.

Cinta is 5-7 year old Hispanic female. Cinta has a head full of brown hair and big eyes. A wild and unruly kid who, what do you know, needs to have a wide range from still calm to uncontrolled anger.”

Shooting is expected to begin this June for a premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2021.
