Brian J. Smith Joins Fourth “The Matrix”

The upcoming fourth “The Matrix” film continues to be a “Sense8” reunion as yet another member of that Netflix series cast re-teams with director Lana Wachowski on the currently shooting feature at Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow.

Brian J. Smith, who played Chicago police officer Will Gorski in the series, has joined the cast with his role being kept secret. Smith is a stage and screen alum who has won acclaim for his theater work in “The Glass Menagerie” and “Sweet Bird of Youth” and on TV in shows like “Stargate Universe,” “Gossip Girl,” “Treadstone” and “World on Fire”.

He joins fellow “Sense8” actors Erendira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere and Max Riemelt who all co-star alongside Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Wachowski is directing and co-writes the screenplay with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell. The new film hits cinemas on March 5th 2021.
