Sony Pictures has pushed back the Vin Diesel-led Valiant Comics adaptation “Bloodshot” by three weeks – delaying the film from February 21st to March 13th next year.
The film will have minimal competition on the new date, the main one being “My Spy” starring Dave Bautista. Valiant Entertainment and Blowfish Studios are also reportedly teaming to develop a number of multi-platform video game based off Valiant’s popular characters including a “Bloodshot” video game.
Also today, the sequel to 2017’s action comedy “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” has scored an August 28th 2020 release date from Lionsgate and Millennium.
Ryan Reynolds, Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, and Richard E. Grant return for the follow-up while Morgan Freeman and Frank Grillo join them. Patrick Hughes returns to direct from a script by Tom O’Connor.
