Emmy-winning “Pose” star Billy Porter is in talks to join a new take on “Cinderella” which is being made by Sony Pictures.
Singer Camila Cabello will take on the title role of the poor girl-turned princess, while Porter will play the movie musical’s fairy godmother.
Cabello is also providing music for the film which is dubbed a modern reimagining of the classic fairy tale.
Kay Cannon (“Blockers”) is set to direct while James Corden and Leo Pearlman are producing.
