An English-language remake of Oskar Jonasson’s Icelandic thriller “Reykjavik-Rotterdam”, the plot centers on a security guard and former alcohol smuggler who is tempted back into illicit business by a dubious friend after encountering financial problems.
Aaron Guzikowski (“Prisoners”) is adapting the script while the original film’s producer/star Baltasar Kormakur will direct the remake. Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are producing.
