AMC has announced a January 5th premiere date for “Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches,” the series adaptation of the “Interview with the Vampire” author’s supernatural horror novel trilogy “Lives of the Mayfair Witches”.
Alexandra Daddario stars as an intuitive young neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.
Harry Hamlin, Jack Huston, Beth Grant, Jan Richards, Hannah Alline and Tongayi Chirisa co-star whilst Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford (“Masters of Sex”) pen and executive produce the series with Spalding also set as the showrunner.
The first two episodes will stream exclusively on AMC+ on that debut night with the six subsequent episodes set to rollout weekly.
