“Adventure Time” fans will be happy with today’s news.
The first teaser for HBO Max and Cartoon Network’s forthcoming four episode animated special “Adventure Time: Distant Lands” has gone online, offering a first look at the series’ return ahead of its premiere later this year.
“Adventure Time: Distant Lands” will bring us back to Land of Ooo and reunite us with our friends as each episode is set to focus on a different character or set of characters. The first on BMO, the second teams Marceline and Princess Bubblegum, the third on Peppermint Butler, and the fourth reunites Finn and Jake.
That’s not all though as Netflix has released the official trailer for “Adventure Time” creator Pendleton Ward’s new adult animated series “The Midnight Gospel” which follows a space-caster named Clancy.
Ttraversing trippy worlds inside his multiverse simulator, Clancy explores existential questions about life, death and everything in between as he gets to interview beings living in other worlds by leaving the comfort of his extra-dimensional home.
Actor-comedian Duncan Trussell co-created the eight-episode first season is scheduled to make its debut on April 20th.
