Uncharted’s Hennig Moves To Paramount Games

Paramount Games

Amy Hennig, the celebrated game director of the first three “Uncharted” games and the “Legacy of Kain” franchise, has scored a key new gig.

Hennig will reportedly serve as the Creative Director of Paramount Games Studio, the newly announced studio combining Paramount Interactive and New Media together. Former Epic Games exec Tony Driscoll will run the division.

Since leaving Naughty Dog during pre-production on “Uncharted 4,” Hennig joined Visceral Games to work on the sadly “Star Wars” game known as ‘Project Ragtag’ before EA shut the studio down.

She then went to Skydance New Media where she has been working on “Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra” which is currently targeting a 2027 release. With Skydance having accquired Paramount, this is essentially a lateral move for Hennig.

The first major title released by the studio will be the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin” video game which showed off its first trailer at Summer Games FEst.

A previously announced untitled Star Wars game, which Skydance was making in collaboration with Lucasfilm, will now continue development as part of Paramount Games Studio.
