The first trailer for the third season of Adult Swim’s “My Adventures With Superman” which returns on June 13th with episodes to release the next day on HBO Max.
The new season introduces the evil Cyborg Superman and young hero Superboy to the series, with “Glee” and Broadway star Darren Criss as Superboy and Max Mittelman returning as Hank Henshaw/Cyborg Superman.
In the new season, Clark (Jack Quaid) has truly become Superman and made peace with his Kryptonian origins – he’s ready to settle down! But Lois (Alice Lee), who has finally become the Planet’s star reporter, is NOT.
Jimmy (Ishmel Sahid) has evolved from freelance photographer to celebrity journalist – but he’s still intimidated by the romantic attentions of the newly arrived Kara Zor‑El (Kiana Madeira), who’s trying to find her place on Earth.
This found family will have to confront powerful new enemies that challenge Superman, threaten their future, and test the bonds holding them together. Can our heroes save their tomorrow – before it destroys today.
The trailer release comed as a spin-off series titled “My Adventures With Green Lantern” is also coming soon to Adult Swim and HBO Max. That will follow Green Lantern Corps. member Jessica Cruz, who makes her debut in this season of “Superman”.
