AEW’s Samoa Joe has officially landed the role of flame-haired homicidal clown mask-wearing Sweet Tooth alongside Will Arnett in the “Twisted Metal” TV series for Peacock.
Arnett will be voicing the role, while Joe is set to take on the physical appearance of the clown. The character, who drives a doomsday ice cream truck across an apocalyptic landscape, serves as an antagonist in the half-hour high-octane comedy based on the PlayStation game franchise. Discovery+ has premiered the first trailer for “Conjuring Kesha,” a new supernatural investigation series starring the Grammy-nominated singer and celebrity guest stars looking into the paranormal. The series is set to debut on the streaming platform on Friday, July 8th.

John Malkovich, Emily Mortimer, and Claes Bang are set to star in the Apple TV+ drama series “The New Look” alongside Ben Mendelsohn, Juliette Binoche and Maisie Williams.

Felonius Monk
FOX has handed out a script commitment to the drama series “Felonious Monk” based on the novel by William Kotzwinkle. Michael Brandon Guercio (“Treadstone”) is penning the adaptation.
The drama revolves around a disgraced cop with anger issues-turned-monk who returns to his hometown to take care of his dead uncle’s outstanding debts, and suspects foul play. Now, he’s forced to abandon his serene monastery life in order to solve his uncle’s murder and other homicide cases. [Source: THR]

TNT hss premiered the trailer for the sixth and final season of the U.S. TV series reimagining of the Aussie crime film “Animal Kingdom”. One of the last scripted series on TNT, the show’s final run arrives on June 19th.
