Production kicked off yesterday in Jamaica on the new James Bond film under the helm of director Cary Fukunaga and today the first photos from the set have gone online.
The shots include an onscreen reunion of stars Daniel Craig as James Bond and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter. There are also photos of Craig driving an old Land Rover.
Wright’s return was the biggest surprise reveal of last week’s infamous live stream event, and the photos confirm the long-delayed film is finally before the cameras.
As has been previously revealed, the production shot some scenes in Norway, is shooting the Jamaican leg of its story first, will then move to Pinewood Studios in the UK for the majority of its shoot before wrapping things up with a location shoot in Matera, Italy.
Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns and Phoebe Waller-Bridge penned the script for the film which also stars Rami Malek as the villain along with the returns of Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Rory Kinnear (Tanner), Lea Seydoux (Madeleine Swann) and Ben Whishaw (Q).
Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch and Billy Magnussen also star in the film opening April 8th 2020.
