Jones, Chiang Join Favreau’s “Star Wars”

“The Jungle Book” director Jon Favreau’s proposed live-action “Star Wars” series has added the first two members of its creative team – Doug Chiang and Andrew L Jones.

Very little is known about the project except that it takes place seven years after the Battle of Yavin and will fill in some of the blanks regarding what happened between “Return of the Jedi” and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.

ThatHashtagShow reports that long time “Star Wars” franchise production designer Doug Chiang will be joining the series, while “The Jungle Book,” “Avatar” and “The Adventures of Tintin” art director Andrew L. Jones is also onboard.

The show is set to air on Disney’s new online streaming service which launches in 2019.
