Sony Pictures’ next entry in the “Men in Black” franchise is moving along fast. Serving as a “Jurassic World”-esque combined sequel and refresh, the movie stays in the world of the first three films but follows all new characters.
This week Omega Underground posted what they indicate is a brief synopsis for the project which has “Thor: Ragnarok” co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson starring in a story in which Thompson’s character ‘Em’ goes on a journey to prove herself by joining the London branch of the MIB.
She is partnered with “former ace” MIB agent “H” (Chris Hemsworth) and the pair soon find themselves embroiled in a murder mystery that will see them crossing the globe. F. Gary Gray helms the two-hander style project which will begin shooting in London next month.
“Iron Man” writers Matt Holloway and Art Meachum penned the script for the film which has a June 14th 2019 release date.
