Disney’s “Zootpoia” sequel brought in $10.2 million during its preview day on Tuesday.
That’s the second-highest preview haul for a Disney Animation film in its history, only beaten by last year’s “Moana” sequel with $13.8 million and coming in ahead of “Frozen II” at $8.5 million.
It’s also the eighth highest overall animated film preview haul, beaten by multiple Pixar films, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” ($17.4M) and this year’s “Demon Slayer – Infinity Castle” ($11.4M).
Previous projections had the film grossing $125-150 million for the five-day Thanksgiving holiday and that estimate remains in place.
Meanwhile, last week’s box-office champ “Wicked: For Good” is expected to hit the $80 million mark for its five-day haul.
That film hit $15.75 million on Tuesday, the second-best Tuesday of 2025 so far, behind only “Superman”. It’s currently charting 22% ahead of its predecessor.
